Betrayed by the Prince, Crowned by the Sea Episode 17. Vesper saved human Caius, trusted him, and revealed her kind's secrets—only to be betrayed. He poisoned her voice and led a massacre of her sirens. Vesper survived, spent three years regaining her song, infiltrated the palace in disguise, and dismantled Caius's power. She freed her people and reclaimed the sea. Instead of killing him, she left Caius trapped on the shore, tormented by guilt, while she led her clan back to the deep.
